Mizoram to get more Broadband Internet Connections |

AIZAWL: All district headquarters in Mizoram will have more internet broadband connections soon.
Shri A.K Gupta, Chief General Manager of North East India Telecom told media persons here that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) intend to give more internet broadband connections in the state.
In all Internet Broadband connection will be available to 3,664 in the state, and an allotment has been made according to districts; Aizawlah will get 1,264 connections, Champhai and Kolasib 480 each, Lunglei 600, Saiha, Serchhip and Lawngtlaiah 240 each, Mamit will get 120.
Telecom Regularoty Act of India(TRAI) has defined Broadband as ‘an always on data connection with minimum speeds of 256 kbps.'
