IndiGo Airlines is a private, low-cost and domestic airline based in Bangalore, India. It is a subsidiary of InterGlobe Enterprises, a leading travel conglomerate based in Delhi, India. It is one of the low-cost airlines that was hoped to have entered Indian market in 2005, but is yet to launch officially.
It is learned that InterGlobe had ordered 100 Airbus A320 aircrafts in Paris Air Show in 2005 that have surprised many air market watchers. This Airline is expected to launch in the middle of 2006.
