Places in Maraland like this one could become a wonderful tourist spots. If the Western belt is blessed with the plains of Phura, Pala lake - the biggest lake in Mizoram and the Castle of Beino (Kolodyne) and a must visit Wild-life sanctuary, the Eastern belt too is not far behind, it an enchanted place with Rocky mountain range that form the highest mountains in Maraland like Mt. Mawma, Mt. Tliatlu, Mt. Kahrie and others adorning beautiful Rhododendron flowers. After boat riding and sightseeing in the Western belt, one can also go for hiking and mountaineering in the Eastern belt. What a blessed land, this is my land, Maraland Ei pina ei laiseina!

When the cold wind pass through... with mesmerizing sounds of beino flow... the castle gives an awesome experience.
Maraland can be developed as a tourist paradise only problem is connectivity. Very soon with introduction of chopper services, this issue will be resolved but even the roads inside Maraland requires lots of improvement.
Let us build a culture among the locals first to visit these places only then we can expect any tourist to come. Tourism Deptt is taking initiative to encourage tourism but considering their meagre budget, it will take time before it can be properly explored...
