Page 3 of 4 There are no flights reaching Maraland as there are no proper Airports except one helipad at Siaha Town. Between 1990 and 1998 there was chopper service between the State Capital - Aizawl and Siaha; but due to the slowdown of the economy the only air services available was halted indefinitely. However, you can fly to Aizawl from Kolkata(Calcutta), Guwahati, Imphal and Silchar. Lengpui Airport is around 30Kms away from Mizoram State capital City. It takes around 30minutes by car from the Airport to the City. From Aizawl city, getting to Maraland is not at all difficult as National Highway -54 maintained by India Government is wide and good enough to sleep and enjoy on your way to Maraland.
