SIAHA, 27 March, 2025, Thursday – The four-day Mara Autonomous District Council (MADC) Budget Session 2025-2026 concluded today at the MADC Session Hall, MADC Complex, Siaha.
The final day of the session featured a morning session where five starred questions were posed and answered, followed by an in-depth discussion on the MADC Budget Estimate for the 2025-2026 fiscal year during the afternoon session.
Members of District Council (MDC) unanimously approved the budget estimate for the upcoming fiscal year, totaling Rs. 23,275.49 Lakhs, marking an increase of Rs. 1,539.28 Lakhs compared to the previous year’s budget of 2024-2025.
During the four day session, all 22 starred questions and 3 unstarred questions were raised and addressed.
The Budget Session was officially closed by N. Viakhu, Chairman of the MADC, at 4:03 PM, with the session adjourned until further notice.
